VINTAGES
Le Seuil de Mazeyres 2015
Management: Alain Moueix
Technical Manager: Jean-Michel Bernard / Ludovic Guibert
Weather Conditions During the Vintage
2015 saw very distinct seasons. A mild spring followed a cold, wet winter. Flowering benefited from favorable conditions, as June was dry and warm. July, which was just as summery, brought an early halt to the vines’ growth. Thunderstorms in August and early September prevented the vines from stalling and kept the vintage from developing an overly pronounced sunny character. The harvest began in mid-September and took place under pleasant conditions.

Tasting
The color is deep. The nose offers a blend of black fruits, violets, and smoky notes. The palate is juicy, refreshing, and velvety. The mineral and briny finish lingers for a very long time.
