Weather Conditions During the Vintage
Spring was cold and rainy. The vines got off to a late start, and flowering took place under difficult conditions. July was exceptionally cool but dry in the second half of the month. Warm weather set in during August, with a heat wave beginning after the 15th. September felt like summer, and autumn didn’t make its appearance until the very last few days of the month.

Tasting
The wine has a beautiful garnet color with carmine highlights. The complex nose combines minerality, roasted notes, blond tobacco, and spices. On the palate, the wine is round on the attack and unfolds smoothly. The tannins are velvety and smooth. The overall impression is lively, with nice structure.
